Description:
The periodic inspection of the object aims to verify whether the newly constructed or modernized object meets all safety requirements and standards before being put into use.
The inspection confirms that the following has been carried out:
- Assessment of the surface condition: surface evenness, exposure of foundation elements, and checking the screw fastenings of the structure elements of the device,
- Assessment regarding the presence of sharp edges resulting from external factors such as vandalism, weather changes, and self-inflicted damage due to the device's usage,
- Verification of the functionality of moving devices,
- Examination of individual structural elements for defects and wear of fixed structural components,
- Verification of the operation of moving elements for defects and wear,
- Check for missing structural elements,
- Identification of paint or impregnating agent losses on structural elements,
- Identification of corrosion and cracks in the welds of metal elements,
- Examination of the condition of screws connecting structural elements.
- Verification of the safety level in accordance with relevant standards.
- Assessment of devices for compliance with standards.
Report on whether the object meets the requirements of the standard, or in case of non-compliance, a list of discrepancies.

Checked for technical changes resulting from atmospheric changes, e.g.: drying, loosening, transverse cracks, warping of fixed and moving elements of the structure, checked the condition of screws connecting the elements.

- Yes. The transfer of the certificate occurs under the general certification conditions. The cost of transferring the certificate is the cost of the annual inspection. In the case of a positive inspection assessment, a new certificate is issued.

Certification of skateparks is the process of assessing and confirming that a skatepark meets specific safety, quality, and functionality standards. In Europe and Poland, this process is mainly regulated by EU standards. Here are the key details: Why is certification important? User safety – it prevents accidents and injuries. Legal compliance – required, for example, during public investment acceptance. Insurance – easier to obtain liability insurance. Durability of the structure – confirmation of material quality and workmanship. What standards apply? EN 14974:2021 This is the most important European standard concerning equipment for extreme sports, such as: skateboarding BMX stunt scooters aggressive rollerblading The standard applies to both: permanent skateparks (concrete, steel, wood), as well as mobile/foldable structures. Main requirements of EN 14974: The height and angle of ramps must comply with the standard. No sharp edges or entrapment risks. Minimum distances between obstacles. Informational signs (e.g., for what age the park is intended). Non-slip surfaces where necessary. Does certification need to be renewed? Certification pertains to the condition of the original skatepark. Regular technical inspections are recommended (e.g., annually) to confirm ongoing safety.
