ECO Certificate can be issued for products and institutions from any industry – from food, through medicines and cosmetics, to heavy industry and services. The ECO Certificate is awarded to enterprises and organizations whose activities do not negatively impact the natural environment. This applies both to the production of individual goods and to how they are disposed of.
It is also important to consider whether the raw materials used to make products marked with the ECO certificate are not harmful to humans and the environment.

Why certify with IBiC?
- An ecological certificate is a business necessity.
- Potential clients increasingly pay attention to the raw materials from which products are made and how they are disposed of.
- Short implementation time.
How to obtain an Eko certificate
The first step in EKO certification is to identify the processes occurring in the company and determine the dependencies and interactions between them. Next, focus on conducting a thorough analysis of each identified product covered by the certification by verifying whether it complies with certification standards. Based on the results of the analysis, the company should implement necessary supplementary and corrective actions. An ecological certificate is a clear signal to recipients, proof of high product quality and care for the environment. It is often also a necessity if we want to sell our products outside Poland – an eko certificate simply builds trust. Generally, applying for an eko certificate usually consists of an audit part (primarily confirming compliance with accepted requirements), a testing part (testing raw materials, etc.), and a verification part (conducted after the ecological certificate has been granted).
