CE Marking | Certificate of Conformity | Declaration of Conformity

Description of the service

Scope of services provided by the Institute for Research and Certification (IBiC) related to CE marking and conformity assessment of products, including support in the following areas:

assistance in CE mark implementation,
consulting on the New Approach Directives,
product testing,
support in obtaining CE marking,
conformity assessment,
verification of the Declaration of Conformity.

We work in partnership with leading research institutions and accredited testing bodies.

CE marking is a mandatory requirement for a wide range of products placed on the European market.

The CE mark is a symbol confirming that a product complies with applicable EU health, safety, and environmental protection requirements. Although often referred to in everyday language as “CE certification,” the CE mark is not a quality certificate and does not confirm the country of origin or authenticity of the goods.

It demonstrates conformity with requirements related to, among others, mechanical properties, electromagnetic compatibility, noise levels, and other applicable technical criteria. For this reason, particular attention must be given to the correct and compliant execution of the CE marking process.
