The ECO certificate can be issued to products and institutions from all industries, from medicine and cosmetics to heavy industry and services, with the exception of the agri-food industry. The certificate is awarded to enterprises and organizations whose activities do not have a negative impact on the natural environment. This applies both to the production of individual goods and to methods of their disposal.
It is also important whether the raw materials from which ECO-certified products are made are harmful to humans and the environment.
Why certification with IBiC?
- Ecocertification is a business necessity
- The potential client pays more and more attention to what raw materials the product is made of and how it is disposed of.
- Short execution time
How to get an ECO certificate?
The first step of EKO certification is the identification of the processes taking place in the company and the definition of dependencies and interactions between them. Then focus on conducting a thorough analysis of each identified certified product, verifying its compliance with the certification standards. Based on the results of the analysis, the company must implement the necessary additional and corrective actions. An ecological certificate is a clear signal to recipients, proof of high product quality and care for the environment. Often it is also a necessity if we want to sell our products outside of Poland - an ecological certificate simply inspires trust. As a rule, submitting an application for an eco-certificate usually consists of an audit part (consists mainly in confirming compliance with accepted requirements), a testing part (testing of raw materials, etc.) and a verification part (carried out after the ECO certificate is issued).
